About Lake and Rail

Our Story

Lake and Rail is an acoustic indie rock group from Buffalo, NY, featuring brothers-in-law Peter Burakowski and Mark Warren. Their songs weave in stories of family, love, and the history of their hometown.


Their name is a reference to a grain elevator located on the Buffalo River.
